The Dynamic Flow Networking-concept (DFN) is a simple design, based on dynamx control valves. These deliver precisely the right amount of heating or cooling water to one or more users. When integrated in a Building Management System (BMS) they guarantee a precise temperature control on every working space in the building.
The dynamx control valve brings the right amount of energy to the right spot on the right moment. The water supply is continuously adjusted to match the energy needs in a certain room. Thanks to such a variable flow regulation, the temperature can be defined precisely, and this regardless of the use or occupancy of the room.
The dynamx control valves can be installed everywhere: in ceilings, elevated floors or in technical rooms. They are coupled to sensors and room controllers that control the temperature in the room. In that way, they monitor the precise amount of energy in one or more rooms.
The DFN concept delivers precise information on energy flows at every level. This information is being used to control the primary pumps, in order to direct the right amount of hot or cold water to each floor. In this manner, the energy is being used optimally: only the necessary amount of hot or cold water is being produced and distributed.
Measurements give a clear view on the energy consumption of a building. The system generates reports about flow and temperature levels and about energy flows. The energetic performance can be reported for a whole building, for each floor, or for each individual room. It is even possible to install alarms for eventual problems that could occur.
