DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
& MANAGER
for embedded systems
Job description
As a Development Engineer & Manager you have a three-folded role.
Your first role is to take the lead on the embedded electronics and software development. You will define the system architecture in close coopeation with the product manager. Next you will translate the architecture in an electronics and embedded software design. You will then coordinate manufacturers in producing in-time, in-budget and to the highest quality standards.
Your second role is to expand the team of embedded system developers and take the management and coaching of the team. Your tasks will then become more managerial and less development oriented.
Your third role is to contribute to the strategy setting of the company. Your technological insights provide essential information to how the company must position itself to cope with the challenges of the years to come.
Profile
- you have a Master's degree in Electronics or Embedded Software Engineering
(ir/ing)
- you have at least 5 years of relevant experience
- you are result-driven, with strong technical intuition
- you are a good communicator, both in written and speaking
- you are a problem solver and exhibit a natural tendency to anticipate
on problems
- you are not limited by a dogmatic approach
- experience in HVAC is an asset, not a must
